The McGill Graduate Funding Working Group (FWG) is a cross-disciplinary collective of McGill graduate students, assembled in the Fall semester of 2020.
FWG McGill surveys the financial health of graduate students at McGill across departments. These results are formulated into reports and recommendations to inform university-wide policy proposals concerning graduate funding. The PGSS is excited to launch the next Graduate Funding Survey on February 3rd, 2025!
The FWG is committed to supporting Post Graduate Student Associations (PGSAs) in their efforts to improve funding practices in their departments, while we continue to advocate for better funding policies across McGill. We help PGSAs conduct departmental funding surveys and provide complementary data from our own survey results.
